Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stated that the public’s trust in the Maoist Centre is increasing. Speaking at a greeting exchange program and the second village conference of the party organized on the occasion of Tamu Lhosar in Gauriganj, Jhapa, he claimed that the Maoist Centre continues to strengthen its support and trust among the people.
He said, “The Nepali people will once again support the Maoist Centre for nation-building. The party has succeeded in gaining public support by winning several seats in the recent elections at all three levels, defeating the ruling alliance.”
Welcoming new entrants into the party, Chairperson Dahal remarked that the enthusiastic support from the people has made the Maoist Centre even stronger. He emphasized that the political achievements of the past were possible due to the leadership of the Maoist Centre, which is committed to safeguarding them and steering the nation towards prosperity.
He further stated the need for another movement to secure economic, social, and cultural rights. “Political changes alone are not enough to strengthen the country. There is a need for a new movement to achieve economic and social prosperity with the collaboration of the Nepali people,” he added.
On this occasion, Chairperson Dahal is also scheduled to inspect ongoing projects, including the under-construction Kanakai Bridge and Kamal’s Indigenous Stadium, according to district chairperson Raju Acharya.
