In Kachankawal Rural Municipality, the science exhibition organized by Kachankawal Vidya Mandir Secondary School was successfully concluded today, Friday. The grand science exhibition program for 2081 featured outstanding performances from various schools at both the secondary and basic levels.
In the secondary level category, Vidya Niketan Secondary School secured first place, while Janata Secondary School and Laxmi Prasad Devkota Secondary School secured second and third places, respectively. Similarly, in the basic level category, Moti Secondary School claimed first place, followed by Ujyala Academy in second place and Laxmi Secondary School in third.
A total of 12 schools from across the Rural municipality participated in the exhibition. The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest and Chairperson of Kachankawal Rural Municipality, Kalendra Prasad Rajbanshi, and Special Guest Basanta Baniya, a former member of the Koshi Province Assembly.
According to Khagendra Pandey (Rupak), the principal of the organizing school, the exhibition provided a significant opportunity to encourage students’ scientific thinking and creativity while showcasing their talents. The school’s student club also arranged free refreshments for the guests and parents in attendance.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes to the winning schools by former Koshi Province Assembly member Basanta Baniya. The program saw the presence of various school teachers, Kachankawal Rural Municipality’s planning department head Keshav Mainali, and other dignitaries.
